Terms of service

The terms that apply when your restaurant uses Bountiflow. Please read them with our privacy policy.

Last updated 21 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between Bountiflow (“Bountiflow”, “we”, “us”) and the business that creates a Bountiflow account (“you”). They apply to the merchant app, the storefronts we host for you and our other services (together, the “service”).

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and confirm that you can accept them for your business. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and use the service for a genuine food business.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by staff you invite.
  • Give accurate information about your business and keep it up to date.
  • Tell us promptly at support@bountiflow.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

3. The pilot and fees

The service is currently offered free of charge as a pilot, with all features included. We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you in advance, at least 30 days before any fee applies to your account, and you can choose a plan or stop using the service.

During the pilot the service is still being developed. Features may change, and we may add, change or remove them.

4. Your responsibilities as a restaurant

You are responsible for your business and for what you sell through the service, including:

  • Your menu, prices, descriptions, allergen information, photos and promotions being accurate and lawful.
  • Preparing, packaging and delivering orders safely and as described, and meeting food safety and licensing rules.
  • Collecting payment from your customers and handling refunds, complaints and disputes with them.
  • Handling your customers’ personal information lawfully, including only sending promotions to customers who opted in.
  • Having the rights to the content, logos and photos you upload.

5. Orders and payments

Bountiflow provides the software for taking orders. It does not take payments, hold money or act as a party to the sale between you and your customers. Customers pay you directly, for example on delivery or at collection. Each order is a contract between you and your customer.

6. WhatsApp and other third-party services

Some features rely on services provided by others, such as the WhatsApp Business Platform, Google sign-in and push notification services. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms.

If you connect a WhatsApp Business number:

  • You must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business terms and the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
  • You authorise us to receive and process messages for that number to provide Bountiflow’s features, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You can disconnect the number at any time in Settings → WhatsApp.

We aren’t responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.

7. Storefront addresses and domains

We give each restaurant a free address on bountiflow.com. That address belongs to us and may be reassigned if your account is closed. If you connect a domain you own, you stay responsible for registering and renewing it and for its DNS settings.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Sell illegal, unsafe or prohibited goods, or mislead customers.
  • Send spam or messages customers haven’t agreed to receive.
  • Upload content that infringes others’ rights or is unlawful, hateful or harmful.
  • Interfere with the service, access it without permission, or try to get around its limits or security.
  • Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except as the law allows.

9. Your content and our service

You keep ownership of the content you upload, such as your menu, photos and logo. You give us permission to host, display and adapt it as needed to run your storefront and provide the service. We own the service, its software and the Bountiflow brand. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the service.

10. Availability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during the pilot. We may carry out maintenance, and we will try to give notice of planned downtime.

11. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account by emailing support@bountiflow.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts customers or the service at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When an account is closed, its storefront stops taking orders and we handle its data as described in our privacy policy.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, such as fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₦100,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses arising from your food, your dealings with your customers, your content, or your breach of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first; if we can’t, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell you about significant changes by email or in the merchant app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply.
